This is my personal site. I spent my working life in the British Army up to 1969 and then as a aircraft maintenance technician / technical sales person in the Middle East and SE Asia up to returning to the UK in 1982 to work in aviation marketing, technical management, logistics support and software development until my (final) retirement in 2010

I'm married to Parvin for the last 42 years (bloody miracle) and have two grown-up children, Greg who has followed in my footsteps and currently works as a helicopter maintenance technician in South-East Asia, and Kreshmeh who also works in Aviation with Helispares Ltd here in Andover, Hampshire.

We have four grandchildren, Rhiannon, Owen, Alex and Tony.

I bought my first camera in 1964 whilst in the army. I can't remember what it was, but I do remember it was fully manual without any exposure meter. I replaced it with a Voigtlander Vito-C after I finished my training and was posted to Germany. I then owned a succession of film cameras over the years up to 2004 when I went fully "digital"

Despite travelling around much of the world during my career, it wasn't always possible to carry or use a camera so I have a lot more memories than photos!
